Welcome to VOCAL (Volunteers On Climate And Legislation), a project of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Sierra Club! Born out of an idea to assist member volunteers wanting to get involved in direct support of candidates and candidates with opportunities for climate focused volunteers, this database allows for Sierra Club members to locate events and make a tangible impact to campaigns they care about.

Following a simple registration process, any Sierra Club member will be able to access the map and list view for upcoming candidate events including phone banks, canvasses, and stand outs, working directly with the candidates they are interested in assisting.

Any campaign with opportunities for climate focused volunteers will be able to submit information about their upcoming volunteer events and registration directly to the database, reaching interested Sierra Club members. Please, no fundraisers.

We are excited to launch VOCAL as a resource in support of increasing participation in the political process in support of Sierra Club’s mission. Feedback is welcome and we look forward to hearing from you!
